You must be 19+ years of age by 31 August 2020. You have to have been a resident in the European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 years or be a family member of an EEA national. You are expected to attend and be punctual at all sessions.

Content & Overview
This qualification will provide you with an introduction to the childcare sector, equipping you with knowledge and skills specific to the sector. You will also gain a range of transferable employability skills. It is designed to support your progression into further learning or to work in childcare.
Unit 1 – Working in Early Years Settings
Unit 2 – Play Activities for Young Children
Ideal if you are working with, or wishing to work, with children and young people. Including those in voluntary or unpaid positions.
A classroom environment. Completing a number of individual/group practical and written tasks. In addition to this you will complete a learner workbook, individual learning plan and attend a one to one tutorial.
Approximately 3 hours at home, as directed by your tutor.
Two sessions plus a one hour tutorial.
