By the end of the course, you should:
- Understand your key responsibilities in keeping children, young people and vulnerable adults safe.
- Understand what to do if you are worried.
- Understand the key definitions that apply to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
- Consider some national priorities.
- Understand how your behaviour can impact on your licence.
Mandatory course for taxi drivers working across North Lincolnshire.
All taxi drivers working in North Lincolnshire must attend and pass this course on application of a new licence and then before a renewal is issued (every 1-3 years)
**ID must be shown when attending this course**
Sessions are delivered in a classroom face to face. Social distancing measures are in place. Learners are required to wear a face mask when they arrive at the building and are walking around the corridors. When you sit at your desk you may remove your mask, if you wish.

One – three hour session

You will be required to pass a verbal and written test. If you fail either of these tests you will be required to attend the course again on another date. You will be required to pay £25, each time you attend a course.

You will not be able to complete the course if you do not bring a suitable ID.
